About The Practitioner

Sara Gresbach, LMT, OTR/L

I received a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Mount Mary College and practiced in Outpatient Orthopedics, focusing on upper extremity rehab in clinics in Northern Illinois and Milwaukee.  After having my second child, I spent some time as a stay at home parent during those precious pre-school years.  When my little ones were in school full-time, I decided it was time to get back to my passion of helping people, although I longed for more one-on-one time with clients and a more flexible schedule.  I had always dreamed of getting licensed in Massage Therapy, and it seemed like the perfect time to make the leap.

I received my Massage Therapy certification from the Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy in 2018 and started my own practice that Spring, incorporating the experience from my OT background into my newly honed manual therapy skills.

I strive to provide a personalized massage session to each client, each time they walk into my home studio.  Listening to what is going on in your lives that may be affecting your function and focusing on what we can do to make effective positive changes is extremely important to me.  Combining effective therapeutic techniques with relaxation methods to achieve optimal results for both your tissues and your nervous system is my goal.

I added Ashaitsu Barefoot Massage to my lineup of techniques in 2021 and it has been a game-changer for both myself and many of my clients.  It's not for everyone, but if you like massage with deep pressure, this might be the technique you've been looking for!

Continuing education is one of my passions, so I'm constantly adding new skills and striving to be a better therapist.  Certification in Manual Lymph Drainage is next on the agenda in May of 2025.
